I'm your host Heather Ashley and today you'll be hearing part two of the Jason Corbett case.

Small talk sucks so let's dive in. In last week's episode we covered the 911 call a little bit about the scene statements from

Molly Tom and Sharon and the story Jason's family says they were told later that

afternoon like I said in part one this is not a who-done it. We know who did it. You just have to decide what you believe.

And in order to do that, I think we need to dive into exactly who Jason and Molly were. So let's start with Jason.

Jason Corbett was born and raised in Ireland and family was absolutely everything to him. He was one of eight kids, yes I said eight,

half a set of twins and extremely close to his parents. Growing up, Jason was known

for being genuinely friendly and hard working.

He didn't want anything handed to him and was willing to work for anything and everything he had.

Whether it was school, his job, or his reputation, Jason wasn't one to half-ass anything.

He was the guy you called when you needed help moving, if you left something at your house and

needed it, or if you just couldn't remember whether or not you

turned off your stove. He was reliable and the kind of reliable where no one ever

felt bad leaning on him. According to L magazine in his his young adulthood, Jason started in an entry-level position at an international

packaging company. I know that doesn't exactly sound glamorous, but Jason wasn't a glamorous kind of guy.

He wanted to work and I'll be damned, that man worked.

Over the years, he worked his way up through the ranks,

landing himself a leadership position, but he never lost himself along the way.

No matter what promotion he got he never treated anyone differently, not the people above him

and most certainly not the people below him. I was able to find some old

comments online where people who wound up working for Jason couldn't say enough great
