It could be the year of the quarter bore, as evidenced by the fact that the 25 Creedmoor was officially launched, and well, we just saw the 25 weatherby RPM come online.

And I've been hearing rumors of some development of a really cool wildcat that's got my interest built up to the point where I got a hold of a couple

of good buddies in the industry. We've got Seth and Preston from Hornity on the line. Thank you

definitely the year for the quarterboard or maybe the couple last couple years, it's a fun time

to be in the industry. It is. Now, just in full disclosure, folks, we're here to talk about a

cartridge that I think you guys are calling the 257 Roberts Ackley Improved Improved, yeah?

Yeah, or 257 Bob AII for short.

I like it.

Before we dig into the nuts and bolts of that,

what do you guys attribute this kind of resurgence in popularity in the 25 caliber

hunting cartridges too?

I think a lot of it is the bullet technology.

You know, the caliber of 25, you know,

certainly wasn't dead, but a lot of the bullets were designed, you know, in the 1900s, even if it's the late 1900s, right? You know, most of those bullets were designed back in the,

you know, you go back, obviously, way back,

but even in the 70s, 80s, 90s time frame, very few of them developed, you know, in the modern era

where we have a much better handle on twist rate. And there were so many legacy cartridges out there

with twist rates that wouldn't accommodate for these bullets. And so you saw a couple manufacturers, you know, Ace, when that was a company, came out with

the 131 blackjack for match shooting.

And then you saw a match shooters, in my opinion, I think the match shooters kind of drove it

because you saw that pendulum swing from 5 millimeter as hard and fast as we can sling them,
