She graduated from the University of Pittsburgh in 2008 with a master's from

Towson University in Maryland and has been working at Sinai Rehab Center at

Sinai Hospital as an adult medical SLP and has 12 years of experience in a variety of

settings. She received a certification as a brain injury specialist while in acute rehab and has completed certifications in vital stem, LSTT, and thieves.

Throughout the past few years, and specifically during COVID, she was feeling very discouraged about the lack of family

which includes educational resources for careful hand feeding and a hospital wide education protocol for counseling families and patients on decision making for long term nutritional needs during acute and chronic illness.

pending. The overall goal is to enrich the conversation surrounding decisions for entrel nutrition to provide a risk-verse benefit rather than identifying aspiration and recommending ANH for those patients who may not benefit or those that choose not to receive non-world
