Hello Dreamers and welcome back to the show. This is the second part of a two-part series

on the recent conviction of disgrace South Carolina attorney Alec Murdoch.

If you haven't listened to part one, which is episode 255, then pause this, go and listen

to that one first and then come back. We left off last time with the investigation into

the shootings and all of the cell phone data that provided all sorts of pertinent information

regarding everyone's movements and cell phone activity and the time leading up to and following

the murders. We left off with Alec getting back to the Mosel property after fake visiting

his mom and then supposedly happening onto the bodies of his wife Maggie and his son Paul,

who according to Alec just got shot to death in that narrow window of time between him

leaving for his mom's house and coming back. Alec would hang on to that alibi story for a while,

that is until he couldn't. One video evidence from Paul's phone proved that not only was Alec

not just in the proximity of the shooting when it happened, but he was actually right there

at the kennels within minutes of the shootings. A thing that he first denied that would later be

proven to be a lie, as Alec's voice was captured on a video Paul took that was discovered once

investigators were able to unlock Paul's iPhone. Alec would later change his story publicly for

the first time when he took the stand in his own defense at his trial in February of 2023.

The cell phone evidence forced Alec to admit that not only was he at the kennels moments before

the shooting, but also that he lied about it for months to the police. Where we left off in part

one was when Alec got back to make this gruesome discovery and he was caught in a bunch more lies

when he said that when he got there Paul and Maggie went at the house so he drove his vehicle

back down to the kennels. He initially claimed that he got out of his vehicle. He checked on both

of the victims for signs of life that he tried turning Paul over by pulling on his belt loops,
