Summary

PlayStation 3's Uncharted trilogy is inarguably a vital stepping stone in the history of Sony. These three titles helped breathe life into a once-struggling console, and gave the brand amazing momentum running into the following generation. But Naughty Dog's series about a globetrotting adventurer hit a bit of a snag when PS3 turned to PS4. Partially through development, Uncharted 4 would lose its creative force and writer, Amy Hennig, leaving the half-finished projects in the hands of the two men who just delivered The Last of Us: Neil Druckmann and Bruce Straley. It was going to be a hard task to make this one work. But ultimately, the team delivered in spades. Uncharted 4 is a fitting and high-quality end to Naughty Dog's Uncharted arc, visiting an older, wiser, and more reluctant Nathan Drake who's sucked back into 'the life' by his own brother, and by his own inability to let go of the past. Wonderfully paced and beautiful to look at, and with amazing performances and fun gameplay, A Thief's End is a must-play, and we're thrilled to spend a good-long time discussing it here on KnockBack. Yeah, everything's good. I just realized I told you I'm going to be a little late. I was rendering

like a motion graphics real a new real last night and I left the computer on so it was like

0:41.8

I don't know what I was doing. Yeah, the comp was on all night last night rendering like some,

0:48.3

I don't know, 30 gig five or something. So this is for your job hunt, I assume.

0:54.0

This is for the job hunt, did a little motion graphics real. In fact, one of the iterations

0:59.1

of the constellation opening animation is on that real. I don't think it's the one we ended up

going with because I did like three or four different versions. So that's kind of exciting.

1:08.2

A little LSM is represented in that. Yeah, man, just kind of

Ziggin and Zagin career wise, you know, it's so funny though, dude. Like I take out computer hard drives,

1:19.3

especially desktop PCs, so quick. Like the life, the longevity of my computer is probably

half of a normal person. Just because the files I work on are so huge, I think, that you can't even

1:32.4

like, what is it called when you basically take apart the hard drive and

1:38.2

Oh, it's like beyond defragging. Like a year in, I already know like let's just keep driving

1:46.2

this thing into the ground. Maybe I'll have it for three years. Yeah, I'm not even sure I'd

1:49.8

defrag the drive in probably 15 years because that used to be a thing where you would do it because
