anxiety. Thank you so much to two of my mindfulness-made-Easy students

for suggesting this interesting topic. Making decisions can be a trigger for anxiety for many people,

but there are some effective ways to help reduce this anxiety and strengthen decision-making skills.

If you've noticed that anxiety interferes with your decision-making

process or stops you from making good decisions altogether, I really hope this episode will be

helpful for you. So let's dive into it. The first strategy to deal with decision-making anxiety is to

practice mindfulness, and there are some

important reasons why. First of all, research has found that practicing mindfulness consistently

helps the prefrontal cortex become thicker, which is a part of the brain associated with

decision-making. The prefrontal cortex is also involved in executive functions like concentration,

organization, judgment, reasoning, creativity, abstract thinking and emotional regulation,

which can all help you make better decisions. Another reason why mindfulness can help in the

it can improve compassion, which can be a helpful quality when making decisions. The more

compassionate you are towards yourself, the less likely you might be to mentally beat yourself up
