That is the message from the FBI offered up

in her annual assessment on Monday called

Crime in the Nation's statistics. The data are based on crimes reported to police,

with the FBI saying that the data comes from 95% of America's police force,

and that by the way is up dramatically from years gone by. Well in any case the

data are now complete and they are clear. The crimes of murder, manslaughter,

rape, robbery, and aggravated assault were all down last year, property crime as well.
