It means I freelance my encyclopedic knowledge of Depeche Mode to people who need to know something

I've been studying every move the band has made since they were formed. For example, did you know that the earliest form of the group was called No Romance in China? No, I didn't. Or that their name Depeche Mode was taken from the title of a French fashion magazine. I heard that. And for years that has been wrongly translated as fast fashion. If you're going to be correct about the spirit of the translation, it should be fashion news update.

I'm not sure that that's up. Or we could talk about the time to ban hired a psychiatrist to be part of their road crew because everyone was so messed up at the time. They paid them four grand a week. Shall I go on? No, really. That's okay. Can I tell you about my latest project? No. It's on the radio right now. I was the executive consultant of a show called 25 things about Depeche Mode after 25 years. I don't care. You don't want to hear about the fighter plane crash in Scotland? How can you possibly make a jet crash in the highlands of Scotland relevant to the history of Depeche Mode. You'll just have to hang around and listen then, won't you?
