Summary

On August 1st, the world lost a charismatic spiritual teacher and force of nature; Guru Jagat, world-renowned Kundalini teacher and founder of the RA MA Institute for Applied Yogic Science and Technology, passed from this realm. She is survived by her partner, Teg Nam, and cherished by the millions of souls she touched along her incredibly accomplished path.

For Jordan, Guru Jagat was a gateway to Kundalini and an inspiration of a modern woman, living fully in her power, weaving ancient technologies with science and channeling wisdom from spiritual leaders worldwide for millennials to have access to.

The intention of this re-air is to celebrate her magnetic aura, joyful spirit, and teachings that ring as true today as they did in 2018 when this episode was recorded. Guru Jagat said that her role as a teacher on this planet was that of an artist, helping others connect with their creativity to unlock their inner powers. We hope that, after listening to this conversation, you’ll feel called to release your unique gifts into this world too, whatever they may be.

We send love to Guru Jagat’s family, friends, community, and students, and we hope that this inspiring conversation brings back her powerful & timeless vibrations.

Hello and welcome back to the Balanced Fond Podcast, Solon Fire. I'm your host, Jordan

0:18.5

Younger. And today is a very special and also very emotional, probably for many of us,

0:28.3

an episode to listen to. This is a tribute episode to Guru Jagat, who was such a teacher in my life.

0:37.4

She was one of the people who introduced me to Kundalini Yoga. And when she came on the podcast

0:44.2

in 2018, my mind was blown by her power, by what a force of nature she is. And basically, by what a

0:54.8

badass she is and was. And people in the spiritual world can get really serious sometimes. They can

1:02.5

take the fun and the humor out of being human and out of kind of what this life is all about. So

1:10.8

Guru Jagat reminded me when she came on the show that it is just powerful to be exactly who we are.

1:18.4

I remember that she looked at me and said, you look like the girl next door. I thought that you

1:23.7

were going to be the girl next door. Your blonde, your podcast is called the Balanced blonde,

1:28.7

you're a blogger, but you are fucking powerful. You're fucking cosmic. You're from the stars.

1:34.9

And I can't remember if that was on recording or if that was before we recorded that day. And it's

1:40.8

something that really, really stuck with me, regardless. And I wish that I would have taken Guru Jagat

1:48.2

up on a lot of the things that we talked about. Hindsight is 2020. And I wish I had done a teacher

1:56.3

training with her. I wish I had gone to Mallorca with her the way she invited me to after this

2:02.7

episode. And unfortunately, I got really sick with lime for several years and was kind of out of

2:09.5

the game after this with Kundalini and yoga and even leaving my house. And that's a regret that I

2:17.1

have now because on August 1st, this year Guru Jagat passed away at the age of 41. And it came as a

2:27.8

shock to all of us who knew her, to all of us who were her students, who learned from her,

2:35.1

who were inspired by her. And it took an entire day for it to soak in to me that she was gone.

2:42.8

And by the end of the day, when I found out on August 2nd, I was heartbroken, doesn't even begin

2:50.7

to cut it. I felt like, I don't know, I felt like a sister had passed. And it was interesting to me
