0:24.0	Many of you are familiar with Vody's work as it would relate to social justice issues,
0:28.7	wokeness, critical theory.
0:30.6	He had a very influential and important book that came out several years ago right in the midst of all of the craziness called fault lines where he really lifted the lid off of cultural Marxism and what was going on with critical theory and
0:44.7	wokeness sort of infiltrating culture and infiltrating the church. So many of you
0:48.2	read that book. This is a book we're talking about today that he's been
0:51.8	wanting to write for a really long
0:53.2	time and it's called it's not like being black how sexual activists hijacked the
0:59.1	civil rights movement maybe you've heard the phrase, gay is the new black.
1:03.2	And what we've witnessed over the past decade or so
1:06.3	is that social justice issues as they would relate to race
1:10.1	and also as they would relate to sexuality
1:12.3	have been sort of wedded together.
1:15.1	And so that's what this book is about is how that happened.
1:17.8	So some highlights from today's conversation were when Voodoo talked about the history of how we got here and what the plans and the
1:27.2	agendas were of the sexual activists to wed their cause to the race conversations that had been happening and how they were successful now in doing so.
1:38.0	And this has caused a lot of Christians to be timid about this topic.
1:41.0	And so this is a really important conversation.
