Now let's get into today's show. We have a lot of people who talk to me about their anxiety and fears that come up when they are driving.

So I thought we needed to hit this on a whole podcast for driving because it comes up so often both in in coaching and in the emails that we receive.

It really is one of the most common anxiety panic triggers.

It really does come up for a lot of people when they're driving.

I had this personally.

I could be driving along, singing a song, feeling fine,

and all of a sudden, I would get into the physical symptoms which for me were uncomfortable

and uncomfortable to be driving with and so there's already uncomfortable and

so there's already enough stress on the road and so when we add to it with our own

stress around anxiety and panic and feeding into the unwanted thoughts.

It can go from being just a stressful experience to a panicking experience. So how do we use our own inner resources? Because when we're in the car, we're pretty much just on our own.

We're, especially for behind the wheel, we're the driver,

we have to figure this out and take care of ourselves right then

and right there to bring ourselves into a more calm and centered state.

So, you know, let's talk a little bit about how we can become more

common centered and have a better experience while we're driving. A lot of the stress that comes when we're driving revolves around our desire to be in control.

So sometimes it would kick up for me when I didn't quite know where I was or if I was going to a new place. Like I would think I was fine and then when I realized I didn't really know where I was.

For me it was about lack of control, or somebody cut me off,
