So Rory we've finally got this Romanda bill through Parliament we'll talk about that

and I think the other thing to talk about probably is Richizunak's recent speech on welfare reform.

If I can put my view straight out there, I think both represented a certain form of

performative cruelty. You've just been in Vancouver in Canada a place that I know reasonably well and I

think we should maybe take a rare deep dive on Canadian polities because there's a lot

of very interesting stuff going on there.

And then maybe after the break, the pretty big events that happened over the weekend in the

U.S. Congress with this bill in support of particularly Ukraine but also Israel Taiwan and other places finally getting through

and now on its way to get signed by by the president?

Absolutely. So Rwanda how do you feel, Rory?

if you had been still in Parliament

with this bill going through,

would you have felt comfortable in voting for it?

I think I probably would have felt pretty uncomfortable.
