Porn Free Radio, Episode 2.38. I remember early in recovery, one fear that really challenged me.

And it was the fear of being misunderstood. And I remember just even when I was struggling to get

my plan in place and struggling to get sobriety, I would have these

conversations with my wife and she would ask, you know, heartfelt questions and I would be

defensive. I would be angry. I would escalate. And deep down, what I was really scared of was

being misunderstood. Like she would think less of me, or she would think

that I didn't have things together or I wasn't in control. And this really was unhelpful for me

in recovery. And so on today's show, we're going to talk about welcoming being misunderstood, the idea of

how do we welcome the discomfort of being misunderstood in our lives and not run from it.

So we'll get to that in a second, but first I want to talk about Rev Group coaching.
