Welcome back to Silent Sales Machine Radio. Today's episode is a bit of a celebration for me because

we are marking 18 years since I had a real job. And those of you who have been in our community

for a while may be familiar with some of the details I'm going to share with you today.

But please bear with me as I walk down memory lane just a little bit in this short episode

and tell you some of the cool things that are happening today right now, new developments,

things you've never heard about before that are rocking. And you can expect to see more

details very soon on some of this.

But 18 years, the story, the briefest version of it, because I know many of you have heard this,

is that my wife was eight months pregnant with our son, who is about to turn 18 at this point.

When I came home with the news that I had been let go from the last

real job I've ever had. It was not easy news for her to hear or for me to deliver, but we

made the decision at that point that it was time to jump with both feet into this world of

multiple income streams, internet business. I had already written the first

couple versions of silent sales machine. That's the book that this podcast is named after. It's

sold over a million copies at this point. We kind of stopped keeping track after that. So who knows?

Maybe it's more like one and a half million at this point. But at that point, it hadn't sold anywhere near that number of copies.

I was making most of our money selling products on eBay and helping others get their

eBay businesses set up and launched, answering questions furiously that were pouring in by

email, which made me grow my team. Eventually,

we hired some people. We started coaching, which is over 15 years old now, and Jim Cockram

coaching. We've served thousands of customers at this point. So as I look back over the past
