You know one of the things I share in there is I've never paid my kids an allowance. I really don't believe in allowances. I think paying kids because they're breathing and they exist and they make their bed when they wake up is really is really not teaching them much.

And so my wife and I created a menu of opportunities, menu of earnings opportunities.

And the kids get to choose how much they want to work, how much effort they want to put in,

and how much they want to earn, essentially.

So each Saturday morning they turn in their their scoreboard points for the week, all the things that they've done, and they get paid based on that effort.

And frankly, there's not really a cap. They can come up with creative projects and negotiate.
