It's News Day Tuesday! Emma speaks with Daniel Nichanian, editor-in-chief of Bolts Magazine, to discuss the state of play of the 2024 election and what key races to watch out for in November. First, Emma runs through updates on the wake of Hurricane Helene and the progression of Hurricane Milton, US federal and state-level disaster response, DeSantis’ fascism, Harris' medicare plan, election polls, Trump’s struggling campaign messaging, Israel’s ongoing slaughter in Gaza, Elon Musk’s SuperPAC bribe, Biden’s EPA policy, and Georgia’s abortion ban, before further unpacking the extreme conditions of Hurricane Milton and the absurdly weak disaster preparedness of DeSantis’ Florida.
