Hello.

My name is Matt Mullins.

We are two ministers and two friends who love the stories of the Bible.

And we want to tell you about them.

And today, Todd, we have a parable, a parable.

A parable, as the kids are saying, not to be confused with the wrong syllable, syllable.

Matt, we are in the book of Luke.

Luke, that's in the New Testament.

Okay.

And hey, we wanted to talk about Luke 18, which is the parable of the persistent widow.

Another way or another title would be this, a story of a persistent disciple.

Okay.

So let's do something first.

Before we jump right into this story, Matt, you know, sometimes when we learn, maybe

growing up in the school system or home school system or whatever, sometimes you learn

by comparing and sometimes you learn by contrasting.

So for instance, Matt, who would you compare yourself to?

If you said, okay, this is who I am, this is my character, this is my personality.

What character from a 90 sitcom would you say, okay, that's me.

I can identify as like this character in this show.

I think my personality type is very much like, uh, Reginald Vell Johnson on Family Matters.
