When somebody told me that there could be potentially something that could make her be more comfortable,

I was all over it and so that's how I started my journey.

We're lucky in California in the Bay Area here to have the Buck Institute on

Aging very close by and so I had a colleague of friend that was a scientist there and got him to kind of look into sleep drops and how we could create something and then the results my mom actually had with cannabis were startling in terms of her first

experience and so that led me to basically start the business because when we saw the results that my mom was able

then to sleep through the night but not only that but her dementia symptoms and a lot of her confusion just seemed to get better and she wasn't as stressed

and nervous about what maybe was happening to her brain and she kind of just just was able to not

fight it so much. That of course is our guest today Carrie Tice who is the

founder and CEO of Octavia Wellness.

The Octavia Wellness brand sells products derived from the cannabis plant online.

These products consist of pain relieving tinctures,

sleep aids, balms, and prepackaged dried flowers, which can all be delivered right to a

patient's doorstep.
