All right, folks, welcome back to The Daily Blade. This week, we're

going to spend the entire week talking about as men, how do we glorify God at work? That's right.

How do we glorify God at work? One of the things that I want to do on the Daily Blade is I'm not

trying to get into your feelings that much and

theologically I'm not even trying to you know unpack a half a semester of seminary

the thing I want to do is just be very very practical so in the few last few weeks I've

talked about how to glorify God in your marriage and how to glorify God as a dad. And the reality

is that we're going to spend a huge portion of our life getting up and going to work. And I want to

talk about what does it look like as a man of God to go to work. The first thing I want to talk

about today is this, is that there is no sacred,

secular divide. I want to call you to get a vision for God's call in your life. And what I mean by

no sacred, secular divide when it comes to vocation is this. It's not like what I do is holy,

because I teach the Bible for a living and what you do isn't holy

because you have what is called a secular job. No, no, no, no, man. Listen, we are all called by

God to go to work with him to rearrange the raw goods that he has provided for human flourishing.

Genesis chapter 2 verse 5. it's a very familiar passage.

The Bible says, when no bush of the field was yet in the land, and no small plant

of the field had yet sprung up, for the Lord God had not caused it to rain on the land,

and there was no man to work the ground, and a mist was going up from the land and was watering
