The rumble of 18 wheels beneath you becomes a sort of white noise after a while.

Ten years hauling freight across the Midwest and I've learned to find comfort in that constant vibration.

I've been driving the same Peterbilt 389 since 2015,

crisscrossing Ohio in these surrounding states more times than I could possibly count.

Most people think that truck driving is boring.

They picture endless stretches of highway the same sites over and over.

And sure, yeah, there's plenty of that.

But what they don't realize is that the road is a way of showing you things,

things that don't make any sense in the light of day.
