week's episode of the turkey hunter podcast you are listening to episode number 225, 2019 NWTF Convention and Sports Show Recap,

and I am your host, and the guy who is drowning. Yes, it has rained every single day in

Alabama since I got back from Nashville.

And I think it even rained a day or two while I was gone to Nashville.

I saw the other day on the news.

One of the meteorologists in the Birmingham area is estimating that in this part of this state,

we will have one of our top five wettest winters ever recorded by the time

the end of February rolls around. At this stage, I believe it. The good news about all this rain

is that the cloud cover and the shortened daylight periods are probably going to keep the turkeys

right on target for this spring.

My trail cam pictures prove just that so far because I have pictures with lots of hens and not one

single solitary gobbler. But I am kind of hoping that will change relatively soon because we are 23 days.
