Hey there, today we're going to be talking about productivity and time management. And I know if you're

0:05.6

like me, you're thinking, okay, I'm probably just going to skip this one because when people tell me

0:09.9

how to manage my time, it just makes me more overwhelmed. And then I just want to move on and continue

0:14.1

to do it the way I'm doing it, even though we recognize that sometimes our habits aren't always working.

0:19.5

Also, you might be thinking, what does time management

0:22.2

and productivity have to do with health and fitness? Well, it actually has everything to do with

0:27.7

health and fitness. In the 11 to 12 years I've been coaching, the inability for people to

0:33.7

consistently create a workout team is because they don't feel like they have the time

0:38.2

to manage it or they just don't feel like their days are productive. You can teach people all you

want how to squat, how to eat healthy, but if they don't have the time to actually meal prep or

0:49.2

meal plan or time to actually work out and it is not in their schedule, they're not going to have the success.

0:56.1

1:00.8

to do what we know we should do when it comes to health and fitness. This is one of the reasons

1:05.2

that I wanted to have Megan on the podcast because she is a productivity and a time management expert. And the thing that I

1:12.7

liked most about her is, as she explains, a lot of time management solutions are made by men.

1:19.5

I think studies show like 93% of books about time management are from men. So she's taking it

1:24.8

from a female perspective, which can make a difference in the fact that our

1:29.3

roles are different. Sometimes our mindset is different. And there's a lot of different reasons

1:33.2

why we need it managed a little bit differently, which she is going to break down the difference,

1:38.5

which is helpful. And honestly, she's going to give some really simple, effective ideas that I

1:43.7

hadn't thought of that I could

1:44.9

see could help me with some of my time management gaps and hopefully yours as well.
