0:00.0	Hey everyone, and welcome back to Big Mad True Crime, where we get Big Mad over True Crime.
0:05.6	I'm your host Heather Ashley, and today's case is out of Geneva, Illinois.
0:10.2	Small talk sucks, so let's dive in.
0:15.9	On Sunday, July 6, 2014, at around 6.39 AM, a train was running its scheduled route
0:31.6	through Geneva, Illinois, when the conductor spotted someone lying awkwardly on the tracks
0:36.5	ahead.
0:37.5	He blew the horn, hoping it might startle the person, and they would move out of the
0:41.0	way, but the person didn't move at all.
0:44.2	Not wanting to hit whoever it was, the conductor had no choice but to initiate an emergency
0:49.4	stop.
0:50.4	Once the train came to a halt, he got out to try and figure out what was going on, but
0:55.0	as he got closer to the person, he realized it was a woman laying on her left side, with
1:00.2	her head and neck perfectly positioned on the tracks.
1:03.6	There was a blank stare in her eyes and a blue discoloration around her mouth, and
1:08.0	it was at that moment that the conductor knew he needed to call 911.
1:14.1	The first officer on scene was thankfully a sergeant, and it seemed pretty clear to him
1:18.7	that not only was this woman dead, she had been for some time, but just to be sure he
1:23.8	called EMS.
1:24.8	EMTs rushed to the scene and agreed, noting that her skin was a cyanotic purple color,
1:31.2	which is when your skin gets a bluer purple tint to it due to a lack of oxygen in the blood.
1:36.4	Aside from the color of her skin, they also noted that her pupils were fixed and dilated,
1:41.6	and they couldn't find a pulse.
