What's up guys? Welcome back to another episode of the Rock Your Brand podcast. Today we are going to be diving into and revealing what we're calling well the ETSE Sellers game because well believe it or not what we're doing right now is playing a game at least that's how I feel and well the way I look at it is

Etsy Amazon eBay Google YouTube doesn't matter They're all platforms and they all have their algorithm

and they all have a goal of providing information

or products to the person that's searching. And the way I look at it is well, it's kind of like we're playing a game and figuring out like how we can actually beat the algorithm in a good way or beat the ETSE algorithm so we can get more views and get more

sales but really it's all about well how do we do this and how can we gamify it because we should be having fun doing what we're doing right we should be having fun and that's what I really kind of reflected on this past weekend so I was taking a walk and I was like you know why do I love business so much and I said you know what because it's kind of like a sport for me and when I think about it, I'm like, yeah, I'm always trying to learn. I'm trying to adjust. And I'm trying new things. I'm testing new things and then bringing it back to the drawing board.

So if we can break down this Etsy thing

and look at it as if we are playing a game,

what kind of game are we playing? So that's what we're going to be talking about and there are actually three levels to this game I've identified and we're going to cover those here today on this episode.

So, Scott, would you say that the reason that you like the gamification is that it gives you a way of keeping score?

Yes, it does.
