How's it going everybody? Happy October? I'd say probably most of the country has an archery season that's open now

So hopefully you've been able to get out and do a little bit of hunting yourself

I just got back home from Elk hunting the last couple weeks and this will be the final one about Elk hunting for a while

We're gonna start talking about deer hunting a lot again

But both my dad and I had Elk tags this season and my dad has been Elk hunting now for three years

But this was the most that he's been able to get out and pursue him. He's now a Colorado resident

So he was able to have a little bit more time than he has in the past to get out and hunt and he really got after it this year

And he learned a lot and in this episode

We're gonna be talking about some of the things that we learned this season and at the end

I tell the story of the bowl that Ben Colin and I ended up getting on the last leg of our Elk trip this season

Like I've said in the past Elk hunting has become a huge interest of mine

I would say that during September it's definitely my favorite thing to hunt

But I'm definitely excited about getting in the deer woods and starting to chase white tails again
