I'm so touched and so moved and so appreciative. I worked so hard on this book and you know you work for years in isolation on a book and then it finally comes out and you just you pray that it's going to find its audience and so far the response that you guys have have shared on social media.

It's just been so overwhelmingly positive and kind you've been sharing the book cover which is a trip because you know I'm on it. The recipes that you guys are creating and I wrote this book to I mean not just to complete the Genius trilogy which I'm super excited about being a film nerd.

But I wrote it because food is so important and nutrition recommendations can only take you so far right you need to be able to apply everything that it is you're learning about nutrition on this podcast in my prior books and elsewhere.

With regard to the foods that you're eating and you want to be able to eat delicious food food is so important it's how we nourish ourselves it's how we celebrate major events in life it's how we bond with one another how we express love.

And I realized with what my mom went through particularly in her final months that food really is a gift and the ability to eat the ability to enjoy food it's a gift it's a privilege and.
