Hi everybody, this is Joe Lample, the Joe Behind Joe Gardner, and welcome to the Joe

Gardner Show.

Well, this show weren't a geek alert.

We are talking about tiny vampires, specifically mosquitoes, and in 200 and something episodes,

a lot of times there's some crossover content from previous episodes, but in this case,

I think we have an entirely unique show.

Now why mosquitoes?

Well, believe it or not, they are actually a beneficial insect.

They do provide pollination services, and they're an important food source for the ecosystem.

And we're going to talk about that because I know mosquitoes get a really bad rap and

understandably so.

But what we want to talk about today is basically answering a lot of the most commonly asked

questions about mosquitoes, like how and why they do what they do, why they are attracted

to certain people and not others, what's the best way to control them?

And honestly, that's what prompted me to want to do an entire podcast around mosquitoes

is the control mechanisms in place that we use to manage their populations.

And of course, the risk of not doing so.

So some fascinating conversation there is it turns out, and we're doing that with somebody
