Summary
We parents put a lot of pressure on ourselves to do things perfectly, or at least extremely well. But it's OK to make misjudge and make a wrong call. We make mistakes and we learn and we grown. But what do we do when we've potentially misjudged, and set the boundary strongly? Is there ever a time and a way to gracefully back out without setting ourselves up to be mowed over every time we set a boundary? Erin shares guidelines and tips for working through these exact scenarios!

| 0:47.0 | Hello everyone. |
| 0:48.4 | So I recorded some new videos for the YouTube channel. |
| 0:51.9 | And with the move, I've been in such a time crunch that I haven't been able |
| 0:54.7 | to get them uploaded yet. I shot them from our current backyard. I thought it would be kind of a |
| 0:59.8 | fun contrast because next week I will shoot from our new house backyard. So a little bit of a difference. |
| 1:06.2 | Just for a comparison, we have a great yard here. It's one of the reasons I really wanted this house, |
| 1:12.0 | one of the biggest lots in the area. They tend to be pretty small here in Southern California, |
| 1:16.9 | but we have a pool, we have several grassy areas, some other different areas to kind of go sit |
| 1:22.0 | and hang out. So it's a really nice yard, but we do have a very busy street behind us. So that is |
| 1:26.5 | one of the things my ex has always not liked about this house is the loud street behind us. So no more loud streets where we're going. And it's a huge lot where we're going. So quiet and the neighbors are further away, which we're really excited about. But there's no grass in the new house, but there's a lot of vegetation and a big hill |
| 1:45.9 | behind us. So there could be some really fun things we can do with it. So we'll see what we end up doing. |
| 1:51.5 | So the move is coming this Sunday. So we've been under a lot of crunch here. And I actually will |
| 1:57.9 | admit that I cried yesterday when I filled out the transfer forms for the kids' new swim team for the USA swimming to move the swim clubs. |
