Hello and welcome back to this week's episode of the Turkey Hunter podcast. you are listening to episode number 221 another

turpin interview from the unicoid callmaker show and i am your host and the guy who saw 10 deer

friday but did not pull the trigger and I will share that story with you in just a

moment. But right now we are 51 days, 12 hours, 48 minutes, and zero seconds away from opening day

of spring turkey season in Alabama. So as most of you probably know, I have yet to squeeze the trigger on a deer this year.

In fact, while I have been hunting, I have seen only two deer while I've had a gun in my hand.

And this weekend, that trend continued.

So Friday afternoon, I was running a bit late getting out of town and headed to the hunting

camp.

So I stopped at my property in Chilton County, a little bit south of Birmingham, and hunted

there for a couple of hours.
