Selfish Babe podcast and in today's affirmation episode, these affirmations and

prayers are going to be about you

choosing your life for you.

Permission for living your life for you.

I had just saw a share a seven video,

the mother, and she just kind of talked about older woman and about how there are

some mothers who resent their daughters for being able to live the lives that they

couldn't live. That there are some mothers that are living the same life

for the past 30 years and their daughters are doing everything that they

wanted to do. And how she was saying it would be nice as a daughter to

encourage your mother to live her life for

her because she says a lot of older women knew husband work and kids, husband work and kids,

husband working kids, they didn't really know what it meant

to put themselves first, they didn't know what it meant to choose themselves. And I never actually thought

about that, but I could see that in terms of the older generation of women

and she says that how some older women do not have actual wisdom they're just

older because people expect them to have wisdom at this time but they haven't actually

been able to really live their lives for themselves.

And so she said, you know, to encourage them to choose themselves.

Like she says that some women still need that permission to be able to choose themselves, to love themselves,

to put themselves above other people.
