She is the author of a book that I read, gosh, at least 10 years ago, called The Trance of Scarcity.

Highly recommended, especially if you're having, like mindset issues. You will love it. Today, in part, she's going to be talking about how

human beings are meaning making machines. We are natural storytellers. We love to make up

stories. Like if something doesn't completely make sense,

we have to fill in the blanks with our interpretations and our stories just to make sense of

things. And many of us don't realize that we're doing it all the time. And the story that she's

going to tell about the phone number and her brother, what her brother said to her,

it reminds me of something that goes on in my life, which is, I'm 47, never married, no kids.

Now, after I say that, I'm sure there are those in the audience who are like, what's wrong

with him? That's a red flag are like, what's wrong with him?

That's a red flag.

There must be something wrong with him, right?

Just trying to make up a story. So you can imagine what it's like to go on dates in my 40s.

Because I know the question is coming, right?
