Here we go. Welcome back to the quarter of the day show. I'm your host, Sean Croxton and Sean Croxon.com. Happy Monday to you, my friend. Hope your weekend was all kind of fun. We've got Jacko Willink on the show to kick off your week. He is the author of Extreme Ownership and he is going to talk about being self-disciplined. And you know, I'm running this clip today because I have a challenge for you.

And my challenge to you is to make this the most disciplined week you have had in years.

I was watching a documentary on Netflix.

It was called Untold Breaking Point.

It's like they do a lot of sports documentaries.

There was Marty Fish and Andy Roddick.

And these two had known each other since they were teenagers.

They had trained together.

Marty went to go live with Andy and his parents for like a year.

But when they turned pro,

Roddick's career, as you know, if he followed tennis, took off while Marty Fish was competitive but not elite like Andy Roddick. Then in Marty Fish's maybe 10th year as a pro, he was curious.

He wondered how good could he be if he actually tried.

So he became the most disciplined version of himself. He went to bed early. He got up early. He trained

harder than he had ever trained before. He said he was running. He said running just became so easy. He could just run for days, right? He started eating well. He ditched all the

sweets and he lost 30 pounds. And in the next year, he became the number seven player in the

world, which nobody thought was possible based on the previous 10, but he did it because he

became disciplined.

So the story really moved me because, you know, we all have greatness within us.
