This is Undaunted Life, a man's podcast. I'm your host Kyle Thompson. Let's get into it.

0:23.0

All right guys today on the podcast we've got a very special guest for you. His name is Daniel Cox.

0:26.4

So Daniel is a director at the Survey Center on American Life. He's also a research fellow in

0:32.0

polling and public opinion and he also specializes in survey research, politics, youth culture and

0:37.2

identity and also religion. He got his PhD in American government from Georgetown. This guy is kind

0:41.9

of right in my age range. He's done a lot of great things, but he studies some stuff that I think

0:45.0

is very, very important for you guys. So you've heard me say a lot before that men don't have any

the trends that they've seen and guys, the trends over the last 20 to 30 years should really,

1:30.2

really scare you. Okay. So at the beginning, we start with kind of just generic stuff about

1:34.4

friendships in America, but then we really dig into men and why men don't have friends and some

1:39.6

of the reasons behind that. Now, we did not have a lot of time with Daniel because he had several more

1:44.0

of these talks to do today. He's constantly going on the news, talking about this with different

1:47.3

pundits and things like that. So we didn't ask all the questions we wanted to and then we added

1:51.0

some more that we weren't planning on, but I really wanted to kind of get to bedrock as to
