then we were threatened and then I was attacked, not once, but twice by two men, one wielding a knife.

And after defending myself and the police arrived, I was arrested and charged without any investigation or due process.

And it took me through literally over 26 months of hell to get through it.

And then another five and a half years to clear my name and get the whole record sealed.

And somewhere between $600,000 and $750,000 in legal fees and costs.

That's it in a nutshell.

When you read the story, what I realized through this whole thing was you're no longer

innocent until proven guilty in this country.

You are now presumed guilty.
