Summary

We resume our journey to the west right where we left off: the Tang monk has been kidnapped by demons, and it's up to Sun Wukong and Pigsy to save him...if they aren't too busy making tiny monkey babies out of Sun Wukong's fur, crying, and talking to fantasically bearded men to save him.
The creature this time is a monster skunk that isn't farting everyone to death! It's actually kind of way worse!

Previously on the podcast, we've tracked the monk, Shwanzong, as he was recruited by heaven

0:59.0

to journey to the West to retrieve scriptures from a faraway temple and redeem the world.

1:04.7

On that journey, he was joined by Sun Wu Kong, a flying, shape-shifting,

1:09.8

staff-wielding magical monkey king, Pigsie, a super strong pigman with a rake, and you long,

1:17.4

a dragon in the shape of their horse. When we last left Shwanzong,

1:21.5

he was being carried away by a tiger demon to the lair of a demon king. We'll jump forward a

little bit. After Pigsie and the monkey king killed the tiger demon, and now monkey is fighting

1:32.9

and winning against the boss, the demon of the yellow wind mountain.

1:40.9

Monkey leapt high in the air, jamming his hand into his side, tearing out a clump of his own fur,

1:55.2

and shoving it into his mouth. As he chewed, he narrowed his eyes at the demon king,

2:00.6

lumbering from his cave, armoured with a sword in hand. They had been battling for two hours,

2:07.2

but this was going to end now. Monkey spat the hair into the air, and each one turned into a small

2:13.8

monkey king, like one quarter the size of Sun Wu Kong. Sun Wu Kong's eyes flashed, and he grinned.
