0:13.1	has quite a stark and obvious proposal
0:15.8	that to combat the rising economic
0:18.3	and political threat from China and India,
0:20.9	America needs to breed and or immigrate
0:24.4	a billion Americans.
0:26.8	Fairly lofty target,
0:28.9	considering that we've got quite a bit of population flattening
0:32.6	in the West at the moment.
0:33.6	But Matthew has done his research
0:36.3	and come up with answers for what's going to happen
0:38.5	to pollution or overcrowding, housing crisis, education.
0:42.2	What happens if you dilute down your culture
0:44.6	because immigrants don't tend to be American,
0:48.8	they tend to be Mexican or English or French or whatever it might be.
0:52.6	So I will leave it to you
0:54.7	to work out whether or not you want a billion Americans in the world.
