I'm back from the Edinburgh Fringe.

And last night, I slept in an adult bed, a big bed with a mattress that was, well, it

was thicker than the fucking Kit Kat sized mattress I was sleeping on for two weeks up at

the fringe.

I also had a shower with, well, felt more,

had a bit more pressure than feeling like a couple of people shooting me with a, with a water

pistol. So it's good to be back and thank you so much to everybody that came to the run at the

Edinburgh Fringe. It was, I had sold out the run. I had two extra shows in bigger rooms

on the, on the, late on the Saturdays, both of those sold out. run. I had two extra shows in bigger rooms on the late on the Saturdays.

And I tell you what, I know a lot of people knock the Edinburgh fringe.

And there is still the best place to get a show really fucking up to scratch.

You know, nothing sharpens a show like knowing you can have to do the same thing in the same place the following fucking date. So when I got up there, yeah, it just tightened up as it went

along and I'm very excited for you all to see it out on tour. One of the weird things that

happens when you're up at the Edinburgh Fringe is that, well, the Scottish kids go back to

school early, much earlier than the English kids.

And it's a really, it's a slightly disconcerting feeling, like where you feel like you've

overslept but by a couple of weeks.

You know, one of those things about, hang on, what year is this?

You just thought, why are the kids going back to school?

All of a sudden summer ends. You know, like that horrible moment where, you don't like when the Christmas decks are up and then you go, you go out one day and your mum's just had a mad clean and they're all gone. So it does sort of eject you into the back of the ass end of summer. But I know, I'm back and I'm very much looking forward to taking this show around the country. I also saw Anton Debec, Anton Debec, who just had a show up there. I don't really, I don't know why, but it was great fun. It was like a bit of strictly on a lunchtime. He come out, he did a few jokes, you know. I think some of his jokes might have been told during live at the Coliseum season four, but it didn't matter. It's just good fun. He had some gorgeous
