Hello, loves and welcome back to Tarot for the Wild Soul podcast.

Lindsay Mack here and it is always such a joy to be gathered with all of you, but it

is a special joy and always a delight to be gathered with you for our monthly medicine

episodes, our episodes for the first of the month, moving into a fresh cycle together.

Thank you so much for being here with me.

I'm wishing everybody who honors this day or observes this day and even those of you who

don't.

I'm just a little bit of a blessing for everybody, but a very blessed embulk.

For those of you who do not know, embulk is one of our four cross-quarters of the year.

The cross-quarters are really what our Celtic ancestors, Focou, come from that region,

but we're really even more important, more centered and regarded in some regions than

even the sostices and the equinoxes were.

These were extremely important seasonal thresholds of time to purify and cleanse in the old

ways. It was a time to bless the livestock, bless the harvest, really just do some good,

you know, for them really good care and tending and sowing the seeds for hopefully a very

blessed cycle to come.

And it's rather lovely because embulk and souin bookend for starting with really the

first day of the year as January 1st, which not everybody does.
