Welcome to A Slob Chem's Clean, the podcast. I'm Dana Kay White. I blog over at A Slob

0:05.4

Chemsclean.com. That's where I share my personal deslabification process. As I figure out ways to

0:11.4

keep my own home under control, I share the truth about cleaning and organizing strategies that

0:16.4

actually work in real life for real people who don't love cleaning and organizing. Thanks for

0:21.3

joining me today. This is podcast number two 12 and I'm calling it managing the home while dealing

0:27.6

with sickness or medical issues or whatever. I had mentioned, I think, sometimes I forget what I've

0:34.9

mentioned in the past. Anyway, I had a history of me 10 days ago now as I'm recording this. So it's

0:42.0

just kind of something that's on my mind. I know I've talked about this type of thing before,

0:47.9

but you know, I feel like I've got some fresh things to talk about because it's my life right now.

0:53.9

And so I'm sharing it. Just some thoughts that I have, things that I'm thankful that I've done

0:58.8

in the past. That's what I'll be talking about in the second half and just kind of the ways that

1:03.3

we're managing right now because I think we're managing pretty well for me because, you know,

1:09.6

this is me. It's never going to be perfect. Anyway, but before I do that, let me just say that

1:15.4

at the end of this podcast, if you are listening to this on or before May 6th, stay tuned at the end

1:23.4

for my spiel about the ultimate homemaking bundle. If you don't know what that is, I'll explain that.

1:29.8

If you're not interested in hearing about it or if you're listening after May 6th, 2019,

1:35.3

I'll tell you when to turn off the podcast before I get to that spiel. Okay. All right. So,

1:40.0

how am I doing? Well, I just asked that like you care. So I'm just going to assume that you do.

1:46.0

So I had my hysterectomy 10 days ago and I'm really proud of the fact that my doctor

1:54.8

said I was up there like in the top. Like, you know, maybe he said I'm not like the very top,

2:01.1

most difficult hysterectomy that he's ever done before. But I'm kind of in probably the top,

2:08.4

you know, five to 10. So thank you very much. I am strangely proud of that. I told him that yesterday
