I am also amped about today's conversation. I am chatting with the one the only Harper

Waters. Harper Waters, an unbelievable dancer, a first soloist for the Houston Ballet.

And I absolutely loved the opportunity to sit down with Harper because as a gay African-American

ballet dancer, he is making waves. That is such an understatement. In today's episode,

he talks about how he's truly hoping to open doors for the next generation and inspire them to

try whatever it is that lights them on fire. We chat about his journey detailing everything from

coming out to his family at 14 to working his butt off to get to where he is in the Houston

Ballet. What it was like for him as a performer to navigate the last few years in a pandemic and

how he used that time to level up on social media, amassing hundreds of thousands of followers across

Instagram and TikTok doing things that he loves, like casually walking on a treadmill in heels.
