A report this weekend by Belgian media suggests that Neo is eyeing the old Audi Brussels plant in Belgium,

which makes the Q8 ETRONron, actually. But the plans were

for that to sometime next year shut down, but obviously VW would rather find a buyer than

shut down and have to deal with 3,000 employees losing their jobs. Neo, they say, in this

report by the business media in Belgium.

Neo have already toured the facility and are preparing to table an offer.

We'll wait and see where that goes.

A new collaboration between BMW Ford and Honda wants to integrate EVs into the grid.

The new organisation is called ChargeScape and they will work with utilities providers to ensure their vehicles are able to not only slow down charging when the grid needs, but also feed electricity back into the grid during those grid demand events.

Alpine's first SUV, the A390, is launching soon October the 11th to coincide with the Paris Motor Show.

This is going to be up against the Cooper Tavaskan, Skoda Eniac, the Keir EV6 vehicles like that.

Alpine's all about being sporty. Of course, Renault is Alpine. Renno and Nissan have their

collaboration. Nissan just unveiled the Aria Nismo. Am I joining too many dots here to think that

the Nismo version of the Aria would have some of the same engineering as the Alpine version of a

car that would be around 50,000 pounds.

Diamler trucks had a big week at IAA show this week, talking about the Mercedes-Benz E-Aatros.

This is 600, so 600-kil-watt-hour battery, and this will do 1,000 kilometers a day,

620 miles a day when you time the charging stop with also the legally mandated driver break.
