Today is the 27th of December, about 5 o'clock in the evening.

I hope everybody had a wonderful Christmas and enjoying some time off, hopefully with family and

friends. If you're working and listening to this as you work or go back and forth to work,

well, that's good too. Today, it's going to be a quick podcast, everyone. We're talking the San Diego

Padres top prospects. And it's just a weak system.

There's no two ways about it. They have over the last five years, everyone knows they've had

some of the best prospects coming through their system or chance to be excellent prospects coming through their system,

and they've traded them all the way except for Nantatatis Jr.

That's the only guy that was a kid that they drafted, they signed, who has made it up to the

big leagues.

Everybody else has been moved.

So it's, you know, I think some of those are going to become very good players for other teams.

And the Padres have become essentially a all-star oriented team where they want to go out

and either trade their prospects for established guys

or sign guys in free agency.

That just appears to be how they want to go about playing the game.

Is that the right way to do it?

I don't know.

It's what they've chosen.
