| 0:00.0 | Hey everybody, thanks for tuning in to this episode and this one, Jake and I, sat down with our new friend, Bruce Hall. |
| 0:07.0 | We met Bruce in Florida a little over a year ago at the beginning of the 2021 Turkey season. |
| 0:14.0 | And since then, I believe Jake started following him on Instagram and started realizing he does a lot of the same stuff that we do. |
| 0:21.0 | So he invited him up to come hunt with us in Wisconsin and we spent the tail end of the Wisconsin season hunting turkeys with him. |
| 0:28.0 | In the last two and a half months, he's been all over the place. He's traveled all across the country and he's now up in Michigan finishing out with Turkey season there. |
| 0:37.0 | But he has a whole bunch of cool stories that we just thought would be fun to share with you guys. |
| 0:41.0 | Traveling hunting puts you in a lot of unique situations. So we decided we'd just have a conversation about that, travel across the country and a little bit of turkey hunting strategy within that as well. |
| 0:52.0 | For me, Turkey season is officially over. I think Jake and Ted may try to go to Michigan, but they're still kind of on the fence about it. |
| 1:00.0 | So for me, I'm going to start transitioning into summer scouting. I'm going to be cruising around to different areas looking for deer, elk, and I'll be still looking for turkeys for next season. |
| 1:10.0 | But throughout the year, I always have a pair of vortex diamond back HD 10x42 binos on me. That's what I use just for quick glass and I always have those on my chest. |
| 1:20.0 | But I also always have a spawning scope with me. The spawning scope that I always have with me is the diamond back HD. I like angled spawning scope. |
| 1:29.0 | I used to always use a straight spawning scope and then I tried an angled one and I realized that for me, that works a lot better, especially when you're in hilly stuff. |
| 1:37.0 | Having that angle allows you to sit a little bit more comfortably when you're class. If you guys have any interest in getting your own vortex optics, you can save 10% off of all of their products if you go over to urooptic.com and use the code THP10. |
| 1:53.0 | The reason that we use vortex optics is because they've got an awesome warranty. If anything happens to your optics, they're going to fix them or replace them. |
| 2:03.0 | Because of that warranty, I personally wouldn't buy anything else. So as you guys know, last year was a wild year for censorship, for hunters and anglers. |
| 2:11.0 | And that's why we've partnered with the social media platform Go Wild to combat mainstream social media censorship. |
| 2:18.0 | Go Wild is a free social media community where not only are your photos not censored, they're encouraged on Go Wild. |
| 2:25.0 | Go Wild gives you points for things like sharing your trophies, gear reviews, and inviting friends. |
| 2:30.0 | And as you learn points, you unlock awesome rewards too, such as gift cards, free swag, knives, huge discounts on brands like Garmin and Vortex, and a whole lot more. |
| 2:41.0 | So if you go over and create a free account, you can unlock $10 just for trying it out. All you got to do is visit download go wild.com to get started. |
| 2:51.0 | There's also a link in the description of this podcast that you can click that'll send you over there as well. |
| 2:57.0 | And finally, we have an awesome deal from our friends at Exodus. If you're somebody that has been interested in buying one of their cameras, but maybe has been on the fence about doing it, this is the deal for you. |
