postpartum health and it's something that's very dear to Courtney's heart and many of my patients.

I work with a lot of patients that are postpartum. What grounds? What information are we going to cover

today with the postpartum? Okay, so we're going to talk about, you may hear of a lot of information

about postpartum because there's a lot that's out there and I actually, it wasn't until the most

recent child. So last year, there's a gap there between the first two and the third.

It's a totally different experience with the third because I had a different kind of a different

belief system around postpartum care. And now I know even more. I wish that I maybe

had done a few things even more differently. But what we're going to focus on on this episode is

really how to nourish the mother, like really focusing on, it's actually called, it's called

the first 40 days. So there's a book that is that was written about this. And so we're kind of

going off of some of the principles from it, but it's called Sitting the Month. And this is really

like, been coined from, I don't know, you know, decades ago. And it's what's interesting,

what I kind of started to find out is that there's a lot of cultural differences between,

you know, where, where people live and reside and how they handle, how they treat the postpartum

period in the US. And it's why, I mean, we're like, nothing stops. It's, it's like hustle culture
