Free agency is a different beast in itself.

I mean, my goal was always to come back and I'm back and honestly more happy than never.

You know, going around the city, eating, you know, before this COVID hit,

you know, people coming up to me telling me, don't leave, you know, you're one of us, you stay.

And that really meant a lot too, is just to know that everywhere I went, every restaurant, store,

fans were just like, you can't leave.

You know, that means a lot.

With my injury history, teams don't know me.

They don't know anything about me besides what they've seen on TV or what they've seen on the tape,

but it wasn't enough to convince anybody without a meeting or interview or physical

without somebody really trying to sign me.

So I can take it as a chip in my shoulder,

but I'm gonna go out and play my game like I'll always play my whole career. Welcome into the lounge.
