23 During those many days the king of Egypt died, and the people of Israel groaned because of their slavery and cried out for help. Their cry for rescue from slavery came up to God. 24 And God heard their groaning, and God remembered his covenant with Abraham, with Isaac, and with Jacob. 25 God saw the people of Israel—and God knew.

| 0:53.0 | And he goes to this land called Midian. |
| 0:56.0 | He meets a man and his daughters. |
| 0:59.0 | And Moses during that desert time of his life finds God's blessing. |
| 1:06.2 | He finds God at work, even in spite of his own mistakes, |
| 1:12.1 | his own missteps and misjudgments perhaps and his own zeal gone wrong. |
| 1:18.0 | I mean Moses had taken things into his own hands and whether or not it was right for him to kill the Egyptian in defense of |
| 1:27.0 | the Jewish man that he saw being mistreated and I'm open to that possibility that it was a right thing to do to stand up for someone who is defenseless. |
| 1:37.0 | Moses obviously had a zeal to do something, and it seems like because of the way the circumstance panned out that |
| 1:47.5 | his zeal was a little bit misplaced. Some have even said he had this desire to liberate his people, but he didn't really know how to go about doing it. |
| 1:58.0 | And so in all of this, God moves him out into the wilderness to this place of Midian and God |
| 2:07.2 | blesses him while he's there. He finds a family, a wife, children, and his life really becomes one of blessing. |
| 2:16.4 | Being out there is a part of this community. |
