I said, you know what, move over, Chris. I want to talk to my buddy here, Craig. Let's get into the offseason and we'll start there. They signed P. Fairbanks and Christopher Morel. They acquired outfielder Estuary Ruiz from the Dodgers, but this is perfect

timing because at the time of recording, the Marlins just traded away Edward Cabrera to the Cubs

for three prospects. Owen Casey, Christian Hernandez, and Eduardo de Leon. You were all over this

trade. You were the first with the return. For Fantasy, this is great.

Casey gets a real chance to play right away with the Marlins, it would seem, and there's now a spot open in the rotation for an upside arm, whether that's a Robbie Snelling or one of the other interesting prospects they have on their team.

So what's your reaction here initially to the return

and maybe who can step in in Cabrera's place?

Yeah, and Frank, you know, I think sometimes, you know,

I look at it from both sides,

from the coverage standpoint and from the fantasy standpoint,

which puts me really in a unique category

as somebody that's been doing this for a long time.

So the reality point of view, Frank, is that I think that what the Marlins' intentions are,

and as you saw a couple of years ago when they traded Hazel Zalardo and when they traded

Elisa Rice is that this organization is sort of operating kind of like the Tampa Bay

raised it in the past, where it was shocking to see some players traded that were coming off such a good year. But then you have to ask yourself, well, if that is the belief in the organization, if they're doing the right thing and they're succeeding and the Marlins did win a number of games last year, you sort of have to trust that the right decisions are being made. It definitely worked out in the case of Arias.
