we're doing something different. This has become an annual tradition where we catch up on some of

the 2025 films that have been released either via streaming or video on demand and didn't get the

same attention as the big wide

theatrically released films and there might be a film or two on here that did get a small

theatrical release but didn't get as much attention as some other big box office performers

so basically we just take turns doing a brief spoiler-free review of some of these 20-25 films.

We either streamed or rented, and we do this.

We've done this like three years now, Ash.

Wow, this is your theory already?

I think so, yeah.

Okay.

Neat.

And we've been doing this in August because once September comes, and especially October,

Halloween season is in full throttle, and a bunch of new horror films start coming out, and some films from earlier in the year might get lost in the shuffle.

Although I mentioned this on last year's episode, too.

I think sometimes maybe it works the opposite, and people can't keep track of all the October releases.
