Seattle Seahawks time on the preseason watch list here on the audible.

Cecil Lammy, Sigmund, Sam Darnold, he's not on the show with this, Bloom, but if he was,

he would be talking about his year ahead for Seattle, everything he learned from Kevin O'Connell,

the Minnesota Vikings, and how he's looking to the next chapter of his career.

And Darnold getting out an offer and deal from the Seahawks to be

their franchise quarterback does it work out probably not I'm sorry and hey see well look you've been

telling us for years that the 49ers for one really liked Sam Darnold really thought that he was capable of a lot

and Kevin O'Connell who's connected to that whole Shanahan tree was able to get the most out of him

but what do we see at the end of the year successively two games where they just throw the house at

him and there's the ghosts and there's Sam Darnold.

And not every sack was because of poor offensive line play.

And there's a theme here too, the Vikings rebuild their interior offensive line.

And Seattle last year, you know, first year with Ryan Grubb and the only year with Ryan Grub.

And they do keep their passing game coordinator, Jake Peets. So that shows you they thought the running game was the issue. Bring in Clint Kubiak. Well, you're going to bring an offensive coordinator to rehabilitate the running game. Clint Kubiak is a pretty good name. Again, there's connections there to the Shanahan tree. And they bring in, I think, John Benton, who's been around the league for a while as the running game coordinator and the offensive line.

But they want to lean in. Mike McDonald wants to lean in on the run and set up Sam Donald with play action, do some of those things that they did well in Minnesota.

But this isn't the Minnesota offense. This is an offense that's rebuilding, and now the book is out.

Not that the book was that hard to find.

Maybe we just checked out of the library for three months cease.

I don't know, because the book on Darnold now is out there, and you're going to force him to beat him.

Remember, how does Gino Smith end up being one of the fall guys for the offensive problems last year?

Gino Smith was actually very courageous and very resourceful playing behind a very, very, very

poor offensive line.
