David Stearns and the Mets were busy today.

Maybe not the frontline splash superstar edition, but this team attacked depth where they

needed it.

It may not have been, you know, a big deadline where they're trading top prospects and acquiring

big names, which we saw, you know, San Diego kind of empty their farm system almost for

a couple of relievers.

The Mets really attacked this in a quantity thing.

But what I do like is, and we'll get into each of the acquisitions that the Mets made recently, there is some quality here too.

They didn't just get guys to fill roster spots.

There are some intriguing qualities to every player, I think, that the Mets brought in.
